Khao Sok

A bit northeast of Phuket lies the Khao Sok National Park. The rainforest is very nice and the park is habitat to a lot of animals, inclueding elephants, which once again we could see (only their spoors). However we saw many insects, birds, a snake and a kind of iguana.
Originally we wanted to go on a trekking tour with overnight on a lake, but it was so expensive that we decided to go walking through the jungle on our own. The paths are indicated and there are some waterfalls to visit. To walk through this forest is very beautiful and we walked for about 7 hours, it was very, very hot and humid and we sweated a lot. During the whole time we saw less than a handful other tourists, perfect! Here some photos from the park:
